“Ek is gebore in Pretoria en woon tans in Roodepoort vir die afgelope 25 jaar. Ek het my Hoër Nasionale Diploma in Beeldende Kuns by die Vaal Universiteit van Tegnologie behaal waar ek in afdrukkuns gespesialiseer het. Ek het egter gou agter gekom dat ek te ongeduldig is vir die lang wag vir resultate en het skilder gekies as my hoof rigting. Ek het na baie jare in die raam en binneshuisversierings bedryf besluit om voltyds te skilder. Ek het twee seuns en is getroud met my sielsgenoot Emil.

What am I up to?
I have a few projects in the works.
Busy with editing Love at war. This book underwent so many changes, but I am satisfied with the new direction it is taking. It does have a spiritual element in, since both the main characters experience life challenges. This has allowed me to really develop the characters and let them grow as people. Their struggles with real issues that real people experience. It plays off between Iraq and Sudan. Sonia Main is a South African Red cross Nurse that was abducted and right smack in the middle of militia groups, malaria. Facing hardships, she is challenged in her faith. Curt McGee is a Colonel in the American Military, stationed in Iraq. He faces a divorce, an affair, his daughter’s rape, and unwanted pregnancy which leads to the question of abortion. He is facing quite an ordeal while leading a camp. How they will get together again after a vacation meeting is the main question. Will their love overcome all the obstacles in their path?
I would love to get this book done by the end of the month to get to the final steps in marketing it.
