South Africa: A pilgrim's guide to hope

AUTHOR: Dr. Deon Hoffman

GENRE: Christian literature / motivational
PUBLISHER: Ns. Skrywershuis
ABOUT THE BOOK: At a time when our country finds itself at a spiritual crossroads and squarely in the crosshairs of the enemy that successfully manages to strip much of our hope for the future, this book makes an appeal to all Christian believers to take stock of their lives. Taking you on a journey to the truths of the Old and New Testaments, you will find a solid grounding and foundation for hope and faith in a righteous and faithful God that has never changed His ways through all the ages. This book restores hope for all South Africans searching for a new and better existence in a safe and crime-free South Africa by directing the reader towards God’s everlasting covenant with His people.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Born in the picturesque Boland town of Worcester, Deon spent his childhood in the Eastern Cape and South Coast of KwaZulu Natal where he matriculated in 1978. In 1988 he qualified as a medical doctor and spent the next 17 years practicing as a general practitioner before leaving for Australia. Seven years later the love for his country and its people brought him back to the familiar surroundings of the South Coast. At the age of 40, he recommitted his life to Jesus. His love for God’s infallible Word compelled him to bring a message of hope to all South Africans.
